Immediately wrote a letter to Central Foreign minister Shri requesting help in safe return of these women. Today I got reports from some Newspapers that our Punjabi women got stranded in Muscat after being duped by a job agent from Hyderabad. Dhaliwal asked him to raise the issue with the relevant embassies on humanitarian grounds in order to ensure the women's safety and return to India. Punjab NRI Affairs Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal on Friday (May 12) wrote to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, requesting his intervention in rescuing women from the state who were reportedly stranded in Muscat, Oman's capital.
